ISO/TS 16949 is most widely accepted standards for quality management system standards for the automotive industry.
ISO/TS standard has been evolved and on October 3rd, 2016 IATF 16949:2016 was published by the IATF and supersedes and replaces the current ISO/TS 16949, defining the requirements of a quality management system for organizations in the automotive industry.

The revised standard adopts:

·         Apply Annex SL of the ISO Directives to enhance compatibility and alignment with other ISO management system standards

·         Reflect changes in the Requirements for safety-related parts and processes

·         Requirements for products with embedded software

·         Enhanced product traceability requirements to support latest regulatory changes

·         Warranty management process

·         Incorporation of some Original Equipment Manufacturers

·         Clarification of sub-tier supplier management and development requirements

·         Addition of corporate responsibility requirements

This latest version of standard includes a number of significant changes that will affect all businesses using the standard.

This 2-day interactive training focuses on an in-depth review of the changes from ISO/TS 16949:2009 to  IATF 16949:2016. Through lecture, discussion and workshops, we will discuss what the differences between old and new version of the standard are, review the requirements of new version of standard in-depth and the impacts of the changes on your organization and audits.
